After leaving Wennington Robin went on the do physics at Essex University then at the Polytechnic of North London. He subsequently studied computer science and various other subjects at number of universities. He is currently living in South Oxfordshire and working as a free-lance programmer. In his spare time he help to run the Wennington School website.
